Nobody enjoys the ladder in December. We design the display on a picture of your own house - usually without setting foot on the property - then install it, keep it lit as long as you want it, take it down and store it until next year.
The front roofline picked out in C9 bulbs, in whatever color you want. One clean line along the top of the house, which is the part anyone actually sees from the road, and the package most people start with.
The roofline, plus the two things that make a house look finished rather than outlined: a lit wreath on the front of the house, and the shrubs along the front beds wrapped to match.
The one people slow down for. Roofline, wreaths, beds, the walkway lined, and the specimen trees in the front yard wrapped trunk and branch.
Every package includes the design, installation, maintenance through the season, takedown from January and off-season storage. A 25% materials deposit holds your install date and covers the bulbs and cord cut for your roof; the balance is due once the lights are on.
The package prices are on this page and we are happy to talk numbers on the phone — call us, describe the house, and you will get a figure. What moves it up or down is the length of the roof line, how many peaks there are, whether it is one story or three, and how much of the yard you want lit.
What we would rather do as well is show you. We take a picture of the front of your house and draw the display onto it, so before you commit to anything you are looking at your own home lit up rather than a number and a description.
Most of the time we never need to come out to get that picture. Street View shows us the roof line, the peaks and the beds, and if it is out of date or the house is set back behind trees you can send us a couple of photos from your phone when you ask for the consultation. We only arrange to visit when the house genuinely cannot be seen — or when you would rather we did.
Either way the design is free and there is nothing to sign at the end of it.
The lights are not the boxed sets from the hardware store. They are commercial C9 LED on cord we cut to the length of your roof line, so there is no doubled-back slack at the corner and no extension lead running across the front of the house. Bulbs are individually replaceable, which is why one failure does not take out the run.
Because every bulb goes in separately, the color is genuinely yours to choose. Warm white is what most people picture when they picture a house done properly, and cool white reads crisper against brick. But red and warm white, red and green, blue, multicolor, or a repeating pattern down the run are all the same job to us — and there is nothing stopping the roof being one color and the trees another.
C9 is only the roof line, though. Bed shrubs and hedges are wrapped in mini LED on a fine wire that all but disappears in daylight, so what you see is the light rather than the cord. Trees are wrapped the same way — up the trunk first, then out along the main branches on the big ones — and porch columns, posts and rails are wrapped or spiralled to match.
Then there is everything that hangs: lit wreaths for the door, the gable or the garage, and garland along window ledges, over doorways and around lamp posts, finished with a bow in whatever color you have chosen. Walkways and drive edges get lined. If there is something you have in mind that is not on that list, ask — it is all the same commercial-grade kit and the same maintenance either way. And if you cannot settle on a color, say so on the form and we will send the same house back to you in two or three, so you are choosing from pictures rather than from memory.
The lights, cord, clips and timers are ours, and they stay ours. You are paying for a lit house, not for six boxes that sit in a garage for eleven months, come out the following November with a dead section and a missing clip, and have to be fought with every year.
Commercial-grade LED is made to sit outside for a full season, so most displays run from install to takedown without needing a thing. If a problem does come up, maintenance and replacements are fully included. And when the season is over the lot goes back into our storage, not your attic.
Installs start in October. The season is a short one — there are only so many install days between October and the end of November — and the calendar fills as it gets closer, so booking early is how you end up with the date you actually wanted.
Having them up does not mean having them on. The timer is set to whatever you say, so the house stays dark until you are ready — most people switch on for November, some wait for the day after Thanksgiving. It is your call and you can change your mind.
Takedowns begin in January, and you can keep them up into mid-February if you want. Plenty of people like the house lit through the dark end of winter, so just tell us when you have had enough. You do not need to be home for either visit, and you do not need to find anywhere to put six boxes of lights afterwards.
The commercial side is the same job at a different scale, and it is worth booking earliest of all — a car lot or a restaurant wants the lights on the day after Thanksgiving, which puts the survey in September and the install well before the retail season starts.
If you have a property manager or a corporate approval chain, say so on the form and we will put the proposal in the format they need.
Nothing here is off a shelf. We take a picture of the front of your house and draw your display straight onto it — your colors, your roof line, the trees you actually have — so before you spend anything you are looking at a visual of your own home lit up, not a photo of somebody else’s.
So you never have to buy them, maintain them, untangle them or find somewhere to keep them. Commercial-grade LED, cut to fit your roof, and ours to look after — no boxes in your garage for eleven months, and no strand that half-works when it comes back out.
We install it and then look after it. A bulb gone, a run gone dark, a strand pulled loose by the wind — one call and we come and fix it, at no charge, for as long as the display is up.
Takedowns start in January, and you are welcome to keep them lit through to mid-February if you are in no hurry. Whenever you say, the lights come down and go into our storage rather than your attic. Next season you call and it goes straight back up.
We dress porches for fall as well — real pumpkins, mums, straw bales and cornstalks, arranged on your steps in early October and lit if you want them. The latest we clear it away is the week after Thanksgiving, so book both and the pumpkins go on the same visit your lights go up: the porch changes season in one trip, and you get $100 off the lighting.
See the fall porch packages →Tell us when suits and how you would rather be reached. Most designs are drawn without us setting foot on the property — from Street View, or from a couple of photos you send us here. We come out in person when the house is awkward to see, or when you would simply rather we did.
We will text you to talk it through.
Up to six. They are resized in your browser before they are sent, so a poor signal is not a problem. If we cannot see the house well enough from these or from Street View, we will arrange to come out.

Ask for a consultation and tell us how you would rather talk - text, email, phone or in person. We mock the lights up on a picture of your house and send the three options priced. Nothing is due until you pick one, and a 25% materials deposit holds your install date.
