The work is done with a surface cleaner, which keeps the pressure even across the full width and gives you one consistent finish rather than the pattern of how somebody walked.
Salt scale from winter, rust marks, tire rubber, the moss that creeps in at the joints and edges, and the general grey that arrives so slowly nobody notices until it is gone. What comes back is concrete that looks new again, and the difference shows from the street.
Pavers are cleaned with minimal pressure, to preserve the polymeric sand in the joints that holds them in place. Concrete can take the full force of a surface cleaner; pavers are washed at a setting that lifts the moss and the grey without stripping the joints out.
